It’s our show now, kid!
The ghost-with-the-most is coming to the stage in Beetlejuice JR., a frightfully funny musical based on the beloved motion picture and Broadway phenomenon.
The story follows Lydia Deetz, a whip-smart, strange, and unusual teenager who is grieving the loss of her mother and struggling to feel connected to the world around her. When Lydia and her father move into a new home, she quickly discovers that the house is haunted by a recently deceased couple, the Maitlands, as well as Beetlejuice — a delightfully devious demon with a mischievous sense of humor and one desperate wish: to be seen by the living.
Hoping to scare away her new living relatives, Lydia turns to Beetlejuice for help. But when she agrees to say his name three times, she unknowingly opens the door to his chaotic plans. What begins as a spooky partnership quickly spirals into a wildly entertaining Netherworld adventure filled with pandemonium, outrageous humor, and unexpected heart.
With music and lyrics by Tony Award nominee Eddie Perfect and a book by Tony Award nominees Anthony King and Scott Brown, Beetlejuice earned eight 2019 Tony Award nominations, including Best New Musical. Known for its bold comedy, unforgettable characters, and surprisingly emotional story, the show became a viral sensation and struck a chord with a new generation of theatre lovers.
Created for the generation that made it a hit, Beetlejuice JR. is a wacky, high-energy theatrical party packed with laughs, heart, and just the right amount of spooky fun!
